Our prayer shawl ministry is very important here at Zion. Prayer shawls are given to folks who are sick or in need. They are a source of comfort and a reminder of God's love. Baby blankets are also shared with parents of newborns.

Volunteers make prayer shawls throughout the year, praying as they knit, crochet, and quilt. Each prayer shawl if handmade with Christ in mind. Gifting these shawls to those who are sick and suffering serves as a reminder that Christ is present with them and that Zion is here to support them in their time of need. And then, when they pray, they will have a physical reminder of God's love that holds them so tight, in the midst of whatever life throws at them.
